Tonight after reading a chapter of "George's secret key to the universe", Zofia, Aaron, and I were talking about the unknowing of the universe and the possibility of life on other planets/universes. Of course this turned into "maybe they are green", "maybe animals can talk", "maybe they don't have legs".
This led into a question of adaptation. Not knowing the word I was explaining how animals and humans adapt or change according to their environment like giraffe's tongues adapting to their sunny environment and like bears adapting to the arctic and turning white like polar bears.
Zofia chimed in on the discussion and said "Oh like when humans adapt by changing their clothes when it's hot outside!"
